Old Faithful Pie - Mince, Cheese and Ale (Orders may be delayed due to high Black Friday sales)
This kiwi classic is a favourite all over New Zealand. Lean beef mince in a Town Square Brewing Co. craft beer gravy topped with aged white cheddar. Simple as!
Ingredients: Filling: beef, onions, lager beer, aged cheddar cheese (milk, bacterial culture, salt, rennet and/or microbial enzyme), beef stock (beef stock, salt, natural flavour, sugar, beef fat, maltodextrin, yeast extract, xanthan gum, propylene glycol alginate), olive oil, flour, tomato paste (tomatoes, citric acid), garlic, salt, balsamic vinegar (wine vinegar, concentrated grape must, caramel), pepper, herbs and spices.
Pastry: flour, margarine (palm oil, soybean oil, cottonseed oil, soy lecithin), water, sugar (glucose-fructose), salt, ascorbic acid.
Contains: milk, wheat, soy.
Ingrédients : Garniture : bœuf, oignons, bière lager, fromage cheddar vieilli (lait, culture bactérienne, sel, présure et/ou enzyme microbienne), bouillon de bœuf (bouillon de bœuf, sel, arôme naturel, sucre, gras de bœuf, maltodextrine, extrait de levure,gomme xanthane, alginate de propylène glycol), huile d’olive, farine, pâte de tomates (tomates, acide citrique), ail, sel, vinaigre balsamique (vinaigre de vin, moût de raisin concentré, caramel), poivre, herbes et épices.
Pâte : farine, margarine (huiles de palme, de soya, de coton, soya lecithin), eau, sucre (glucose-fructose), sel, acide ascorbique.
Contient : lait, blé, soya.
We like a variety of your pies but this is our favorite for sure. Great taste and texture
Lovely pastry and filling is so tasty.
I ordered my products on July 29th & it wasn’t delivered until Sept 18th, after several false delivery date promises. The dumplings I ordered were flattened into blobs. Very disappointing as I was a regular customer previously!
All the pies I've tried have been very tasty and the pastry is outstanding. The only problem I have is that they burst open when baking and make a mess. That's a minor problem though. Been buying these for a long while now. I'd love a plain mince, onions and gravy pie.
Reminds me of home. My Scottish mum used to make this
