This is the Kiwi classic, a juicy and savoury pork sausage tucked tenderly into our flaky puff pastry you know and love. Jamie advises to get yourself some Wattie's tomato sauce "ketchup" to complete the Kiwi experience!

Filling: Ground pork, Onions, Bread crumbs (wheat flour, sugar, salt, yeast), Dijon mustard (vinegar, water, mustard seed, salt, chardonnay wine, citric acid, tartaric acid, spices, turmeric), Sunflower oil, Garlic, Sea salt, Herbs and spices.

Pastry: Flour, Margarine (palm oil, soybean oil, cottonseed oil, soy lecithin), Water, Sugar (glucose-fructose), Salt, Poppy seeds, Ascorbic acid

Not your ordinary sausage roll

One of my favourites from South Island. They're huge and delicious. The meat is flavourful and the pastry turns out great with the instructions given.

Sausage rolls

Very good pastry. Sausage is a bit bland - needs spicing up. Suggest black/white pepper, coriander, nutmeg and allspice. NO garlic. My UK origin at work.
